An artist and photographer, Maggy Walton, captures unique impressions from
nature and architecture. Her photographs – she describes as illustrative digital
photography – use both an iPhone or digital 35mm camera and her computer.
Her acrylic paintings often evoke modern impressionism.
Living her adult life in the Napa Valley with a professional career spanning
all aspects of the publishing and printing, Maggy’s been an artist
her whole life – winning her first art award at age 13. While
exploring mediums, her style developed along with her passions.
A member of the Napa Valley Art Association and Arts Benicia, her work can be seen at Art Gallery Napa Valley in downtown Napa.
I began my photography studies at Napa College 40+ years ago. I’ve worked in publishing, commercial printing, and newspapers. Black and white was my first love, and I’m finding myself drawn to it again.
