CELESTE JOHNSON

Celeste has enjoyed photography all her life as well as painting and exploring other art mediums. She finds wine country and the California coast to be breathtaking, constantly changing and full of surprises. She had a photography business (2000-2008) that won awards with B&W photos of children and families. Later, she was inspirated with the breathtaking colors of nature and never looked back! She has sold her photographs, mostly as prints on canvas, to wineries, boutiques and at art shows, a path she is renewing in 2024. Celeste works for Silver Oak Cellars and Fortunati Winery and provides art sessions for the wonderful clientele of Brown Street Gallery (Napa Valley Support Services). Most of all, she enjoys time with her family, their crazy dog, enjoying wine and dabbling in other artistic mediums.  

Celeste Johnson is known for her colorful expression of the vineyard, capturing subtle details of the grapes to the vast landscape of the hills and valley. Color is a magnet to her: deep purples, reds, pinks and translucent greens of the grapes and the golden light at dusk that beams through the vineyards. She photographs with the purpose to share the beauty and gifts that surround us. She believes every season brings amazing beauty, beginning with brilliant yellow mustard amidst the dormant vines.
