Hilary Brodey

Hilary began her photography business in 2000 with a focus on artful portraiture of children. This soon segued into family and pet photography which ultimately resulted in a broad field of family, food, lifestyle, and nature images. Most recently she has been focusing on scanography. She is represented by Getty Images.

I am a Napa photographer most interested in nature, animals and people. The glorious mustard blooms fill the vineyards with brilliant color and beauty. I have recently been experimenting with a photography technique known as scanography which utilizes a photo scanner as a camera. It has been a provocative practice yielding some very interesting results including my image in this exhibition. I am happy to see that the celebration of mustard has resumed!
